Michael returned to the role of Link Larkin and performed at the 32nd annual Elliot Norton Awards which honors excellence in Boston's professional theatre community. He and the cast of Hairspray performed the final number,"You Can't Stop the Beat" -the production won Outstanding Musical and Outstanding Ensemble. Notable audience members included Academy Award Winner Olympia Dukakis and Tony Award Winner Diane Paulus.
